Stigma & Dementia

Event Date: October 17th, 2019
Drs. Richard Sztramko and Anthony Levinson examine how stigma affects persons living with dementia. This population often experiences feelings of exclusion and differing treatment from friends, family, and their communities.

It is important to recognize that everyone has a different journey and will maintain different strengths, abilities, and capacities. Through awareness and compassion, hope to create a more inclusive community.
