• What happens if I don’t finish a lesson?

    Don’t worry, if you don’t finish a lesson in one sitting your progress will be saved for you. When you return you will be asked if you would like to resume where you left off.

  • Can I use a mobile device or tablet to access iGeriCare?

    Absolutely! The site and lessons will work on desktops, phones, tablets and any modern internet browser.

  • How do I join a discussion?

    To join a discussion and make a comment you need to register and then sign in. Keep in mind that you can read all the discussion posts without signing in.

  • How do I register?

    Click on the Register button at the top right-hand corner of any page. You will be asked to enter your name, email address and then create and confirm your password. The name you enter will be your publically displayed name in discussion posts.

  • How do I start a new discussion?

    To begin a discussion, click the button ‘new discussion’ and a window will appear. Enter a title and type your comment or question in the area below. Your comment must be at least 10 characters. When you have finished typing select ‘Create Discussion’ to post your message.

  • Can I edit or delete my discussion posts?

    Yes, you can if you are signed in. From the Discussion page, select ‘edit’ or ‘delete’. If you started a discussion you can delete your original post and all discussions posted to it by others. If you wish to edit or delete your comment from a discussion you did not create, you can do that as well by using the ‘edit’ or ‘delete’ functions.

  • Why subscribe?

    When you join our mailing list you will be notified automatically when new lessons or resources become available. You will also never miss a live event! You will receive an invitation direct to your inbox.

  • Are there paper versions of the lessons?

    No, not at this time but there are many helpful resources with each lesson that can be downloaded, printed or shared with others.

  • How is my privacy protected?

    We do not ask you for any identifying, personal information. For more information about our privacy policy, please see our Terms of Use.

  • Is there anyone I can contact if I need more help?

  • What if I need help when in a lesson?

    You can access instructions on how to navigate the lessons at any time. If you are using a desktop device, click on the 'help' button in the top right-hand corner. If you are using a tablet or mobile device you will find help from the 'menu' button. Here you will find a tour of all the features of the virtual classroom.
